  4. What is the Earth’s place in the solar system? Answer: The Earth is the third planet from the sun in the solar system.
  5. What is the shape of the Earth’s orbit around the sun? Answer: The shape of the Earth’s orbit around the sun is an ellipse, which means it is slightly oval-shaped.
  6. What is the tilt of the Earth’s axis? Answer: The Earth’s axis is tilted at an angle of approximately 23.5 degrees.
  7. What is the effect of the Earth’s tilt on its seasons? Answer: The Earth’s tilt causes the different seasons on Earth. When one hemisphere is tilted towards the sun, it experiences summer, while the other hemisphere tilted away from the sun experiences winter.
