  • Applicant must be above 16 years of age to apply for a motorcycle without gears or one less than 50 cc.

  • Visit, the official website of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways and select the “Status of Online Application” option.
  • If you have registered at an RTO, you can select the “Status of the Application made with RTO/STA” option

  • The applicant has to submit the application and supporting documents in person and pay the application fee to the RTO where the Learner’s Licence was issued.
  • If the RTO is not the same, then an NOC is to be obtained from that RTO by the applicant and submitted along with the application.
  • The RTO will verify the information and the duplicate Learner’s licence will be sent by post to the applicant’s address as mentioned on the form.

Please note- the duplicate Learner’s Licence will be issued for the period of the original- that is, the validity of the duplicate will be the same as the original.
