NOC (No Objection Certificate) for Pets India

Posted on March 7, 2023March 7, 2023 By motimat No Comments on NOC (No Objection Certificate) for Pets India

In India, NOC (No Objection Certificate) is required for pet owners who are relocating to another state or country with their pets. The NOC is issued by the state’s animal husbandry department, which verifies the pet’s health and vaccination records and confirms that the pet is not carrying any contagious disease.

To obtain a NOC for pets in India, pet owners must provide the following documents to the state animal husbandry department:

  1. A valid health certificate from a registered veterinarian, indicating that the pet is healthy and free from any infectious diseases.
  2. Proof of vaccination for rabies, distemper, and other required vaccines.
  3. An identification tag or microchip for the pet.
  4. Proof of ownership, such as a purchase receipt or adoption certificate.
  5. A copy of the pet owner’s ID proof and address proof.

After verifying the documents, the animal husbandry department will issue a NOC for the pet, which is valid for a specific period. Pet owners must carry the NOC and other required documents while traveling with their pets to other states or countries. It’s important to note that different states and countries may have their own rules and regulations regarding pet travel, and it’s essential to research and comply with these regulations before traveling with pets.
