Its history is related to the Satyuga period. Apart from this, many secrets of this temple are hidden in the cheeks of Kaal. which has not been fully elucidated. Later, many dynasties took the responsibility of its protection, now the temple has gone under the Court of Vadas. This is history: Pandit Rakesh Jha alias Bablu, the priest of the temple, told that the sage defeated in the Devasura battle was doing penance in the Vetravati forest in the guise of a sage. In them, the daughter of Abhhryan, Markatmani appeared on the mud with conch shell, chakra, bow and arrow. Devi killed the demon commander and demons named Durgam again. Gave their position and prestige to the deities and became deeply meditative. After this, all the deities with their share established a similar idol of the same goddess there in the form of Sarveshwari Shaktipeeth.
Which is still known as the only Sarveshwari in the world. Later, the Cheri dynasty, Sugao dynasty and Bettiah dynasty took care of the temple of the mother. The idols of other deities, including ponds, gardens, 11 guest houses, 9 wells, were established here by Bettiah Raj in a 52-acre plot. Two inscriptions of the list of patron kings of Cheri dynasty are still stored in Bettiah Raj. Damaged by the earthquake, again built in the earthquake-resistant Nagar style, the stone slab was installed in this temple by the former Raj Manager Vipin Bihari Verma. The descendants of the then priest Pandit Kripashankar Jha still worship the mother.
