Bettiah, Jagran Correspondent: On Wednesday, District Education Officer Gorakh Prasad inspected many schools of a block in Bagaha, due to which there was a stir in the block area.
During this, teachers were found absent in many schools without informing them. Somewhere obstacles were found in the allocation of scholarship funds, and at some places many kinds of flaws were found in the applications. Taking a strong stand in this whole matter, District Education Officer Gorakh Prasad has demanded an explanation from the teachers concerned by stopping the salary.
Let us inform that on Wednesday, the DEO inspected Radheshyam High School Parsauni Farm and Middle School Nehura and SS BS Higher Secondary School Nehura. Class operation was found to be postponed by HM in Radheshyam High School Parsauni Farm. Seeing this arrangement, the DEO reprimanded him fiercely. For this reason, the DEO instructed to postpone the salary of all the teachers and HM of this school on this day.
An explanation has been demanded from these teachers for their absence. Accounting records were also not found up to date in this school. Scholarship amount was not disbursed. On enquiry, HM stated that the amount was not received while the passbook was not kept updated and maintained due to which the statement of HM could not be substantiated. Besides, the cash register was found to be incomplete. Together, four teachers were found on casual leave.
